We are First Nations Building

Gudamulli (hello)

Justine Orr

MANAGING DIRECTOR

A note from our Managing Director

We are First nations Building. Queensland’s only female-owned, Supply Nation certified, QBCC Licensed builder. I am a proud descendant of the Woppaburra people, my family and ancestors’ home being what is now known as The Keppel Islands.

The meeting point where the sand embraces the sea holds a profound significance for me, representing a place of belonging and healing. I am immensely grateful to my elders and ancestors for their resilience throughout their journey to reunite our community with our ancestral land and sea.

First Nations Building symbolises the unity and potential of a diverse Australia. It exemplifies the collaboration between two cultures, working together to construct a future that is interconnected and empowered.

When we address the concept of bridging cultural gaps, it is essential to emphasise inclusivity beyond gender. As a woman in the Building and Construction industry, I strongly believe in the importance of fostering an environment that encourages and supports opportunities for women. It is my vision to create a space where everyone, regardless of gender and race, can thrive, learn, grow, and contribute to building a prosperous and vibrant future.

I warmly invite you to join us on this transformative journey. Together, we can build bridges of understanding, celebrate diversity, and pave the way for a future that offers equal opportunities and empowerment for all.
